Rules that nutritionists don't talk about

Он похудел на 100 кг без диет при помощи 7 правил, которые вывел самостоятельно

John Gabriel lost 100kg of body weight in 30 months with a renewed mindset and approach to food. Order is needed, first of all, in the head and in life in general - then the body will be in order - this is the essence of his approach.

He decided not to rely on the advice of experts in the field of nutrition, but simply decided to think about it. Since he worked as a broker on Wall Street for a long time, his habit of approaching any information in a systematic way was very useful to him in this.

Below you will find 7 rules for successful weight loss in its implementation (without taking into account hormonal and biochemical nuances)

1. Stopped trying diets and started figuring out what the nutrients were in what I was eating

It turned out that what I was missing were vitamins, fatty acids (omega-3) and proteins. Diets were silent about this, so I decided to change my diet so that I had enough of these substances

Surprisingly, the craving for chips, candies and the like went away on its own! I just didn't want them. Apparently these foods were replacing what these nutrients were providing me that were previously missing.

2. Heal the intestines

A healthy gut is critical.  People often overeat simply because their intestines are clogged and cannot extract nutrients from food effectively. The body, when it feels this, begins to store fat in a panic.

Problems with the gastrointestinal tract provoke inflammation, and this in turn affects the functioning of the hormonal system. The more often you eat probiotics (yogurt and kefir) and foods with good enzymes, the better.

3. Get enough sleep

Get up earlier and go to bed earlier. Problems with sleep are converted into excess weight, again due to hormones.  Lack of sleep changes your hormonal levels and therefore you are constantly craving fatty or sweet foods. This in turn increases cortisol levels, which encourages you to eat fast food to overcome your low mood, but the relief only comes temporarily and programs you to produce this hormone in the future.  And at night you just go into the refrigerator to eat something.

 4. Deal with beliefs and plan for the next day

Cortisol is also called the “stress hormone.” If you don't sleep well, you create a stressful situation for the body. Stress, in turn, increases appetite.

I started meditating and imagining what I want in each next day.

In this way I got rid of stress, and with it what it generated - extra pounds.

5.  Do detoxification

I learned that the body stores excess toxins in fat cells. At that time, I had already lost 70 kg, but I still had 30 left, as I understand, the toxins were in them.

In general, I became interested in detox - I began to “flush” my body with alkaline liquids - water with lemon juice, green juices, apple cider vinegar. I ate plenty of salads, greens, fiber, and sprouts.

Thus, the last 30 kilograms went away much faster than the first.  What surprised me is that everyone knows that the hardest thing is to lose those last kilos.

6. Stopped worrying about money

The less you worry about money, the healthier, slimmer and happier you are. After moving to a more modest house, I began to spend much less money on various gadgets, things, and even started growing some vegetables myself.  This also reduced stress, but even when I was nervous, I knew that I could always eat a tomato that I grew myself, which is better than eating stress with chocolate)).

7. Deal with psychotrauma

In fact, you need to admit to yourself that it is not the genes that are to blame, not the “big bone”, but laziness, fear and psychological trauma of the past.  To cope with problematic weight, you need to stop being afraid of this world. Meditation and visualization helped me.

About 70 percent of overweight people suffer from “emotional obesity.” They are so uncomfortable in this world that their “protective” fat ball gives them a feeling of security. No matter how strange it may sound, it is so.

If it is difficult for you to cope with psychological trauma yourself, there are psychotherapists for this, just as there are dentists for toothache.  I will be glad to help you if you need such help.

Take action and you will succeed!
