The first thing you will notice is that your circle of friends has changed. Some people who loved talking about how bad everything was, what assholes everyone around them was, including relatives of husbands, wives and children, what a lousy job and bosses they were, will stop communicating with you, since you will not be interested in listening to and supporting their conversations. You will irritate them by not sharing their interests and worldview.
It will become unbearable for you to engage in meaningless activities, so you will either change your job or rethink your level of involvement in it. Habits, fears, and necessity will no longer be sufficient motivation for activity.
Relationships in which certain games and manipulations based on codependency were played with you will no longer attract you. And your partner will begin to frantically look for ways to keep you with the manipulations that usually worked, but this will not have the same effect.
You will feel lonely, as you will get rid of the connections that filled the void, but gradually the void will be filled with what actually interests you.
You cannot live in the habitual self-deception. Any lie will be felt painfully both in relation to yourself and in relation to others, each time you will clearly realize that you are lying when you do or say something that is at odds with what you believe in.
Finally, you will be truly touched by the suffering of others, because for the first time in your life, you will not have your own. Only now will you be able to distract yourself from the people around you.
You will accept responsibility for your life, and with responsibility will come peace of mind from the fact that there is no one to blame for your failures.
Your angry posts on social networks will disappear, there will simply be no point in arguing, swearing, finding out and proving. Before you write something, you will think for a long time and often decide that silence is your best answer)). Your opinion will no longer be the only correct one, it will become clear that all people have the right to their point of view.
The superficial will disappear, and the present will gradually fill the resulting void. The usual life of automatic actions and meaningless patterns will change in often painful ways, but a new conscious life will begin to take root in you with the understanding that this is your personal path, your responsibility and choice.
